Haven is a realm of islands suspended above a seemingly bottomless abyss. There is no bedrock, just a network of fractured mineshafts, and (sometimes) the uncanny sight of the sun or the moon charting a course through the void beneath the world.

No one remembers how they came to Haven. Some barely remember their own names, much less the worlds they came from. Others remember most things, with a stubborn gap in their memories where Haven ought to be.

Things don't work quite how they're supposed to, here. Nether portals refuse to light. Winged players can no longer fly as they once did. Even mortality offers no reprieve; the dead awake moments later in their beds, seemingly untouched. As though the world itself has sealed off any possibility of escape.

The Haven SMP is a collaborative, lore-driven multiplayer server founded by Asterlsks. Aster was inspired by the terrain generation of floating island servers like Skyblock, and reenvisioned it as a post-apocalyptic amalgamation of shattered worlds. Some characters originate from the Nether or the End, others from settings of the players' own devising, such as the medieval-inspired Bone Paths or the glitzy casino realm of the Palisades.

Haven features nearly two dozen active content creators, some of whom play secondary roles to further expand the universe (or simply to open up opportunities for lighthearted antics, as with characters such as Bikini Quackity or Electron the Blue Mage).

The broad range of characters allows for an equally broad range of genres and plot threads. Whether you enjoy comedy, angst, found family, political intrigue, psychological horror, or an unholy amalgamation thereof, you'll find a streamer on Haven to suit your narrative palate.
